Addicted to Scraps - Wild & GooseyBlock
Wild & Goosey

This design is from the Addicted to Scraps series by Bonnie Hunter.

Instructions to make the Wild & Goosey block can be found in Bonnie Hunter’s Addicted to Scraps column in the May/June ’13 issue of Quiltmaker.

For a 64″ x 78″ throw quilt (as shown), you will need 80 Wild & Goosey blocks. For border #1, cut 2 1-1/2” x 73” strips for the side strips and 2 1-1/2” x 61” strips for the top and bottom strips. For border #2, cut 2 3-1/2” x 75” for the side strips and 2 3-1/2” x 67” strips for the top and bottom strips.

Sew 8 blocks together to make a row. Make 10 rows. Sew the rows together. Matching centers and ends, add the border #1 side strips followed by the border #1 top and bottom strips. Add border #2 in the same way as border #1.
