First Look: Quick + Easy Quilts, April/May and June/July ’24
Let’s Get Growing
As the vibrant colors of spring begin to paint our surroundings, it is with great excitement that we present this special double issue to celebrate the season’s renewal, showcasing colorful designs as fresh as the blooming flowers outside your window. You’ll find a bouquet of scrappy and springtime quick and easy quilts from table runner to bed-size.
Wouldn’t this be the perfect time to do a little spring cleaning in your stash of fabric scraps? We thought so! Play with scrappy squares to make Susan Deshensky’s Memories of Grandmother—her tribute to a favorite childhood stuffed toy. Or cut them into triangles as Deb Graves did for her eye-catching Rainbow Riot.

Are you ready to learn new quilting skills? Master fusible appliqué techniques with a little Dutch Treat. Try out paper foundation piecing to make a garden of Easy Peasy Posies. Or use fussy cutting to showcase novelty prints for Jungle Baby.
Going Quarterly
But wait—we have so much more we want to share! And beginning with our Fall issue, we’ll be switching to an expanded quarterly publication with improved paper quality, binding, and larger page size—all so we can bring you even more of our fast and simple-to-assemble quilt patterns, fun features, product recommendations, new techniques, plus helpful tips and shortcuts we know you’ll love.
We’re ready to kick off a fresh season of quick and easy quilting. How about you? Let us know on Facebook, Instagram, or in the comments section below.

From our Shop
I am not happy about the switch to quarterly publication for Quick and Easy Quilts. One of the reasons I subscribe to this magazine is because it is bi-monthly. Four times a year is just not enough!
