Cutting Instructions:
Background Print
… 4 squares 4″ x 4″
… 1 square 6 1/4″ x 6 1/4″, cut in half diagonally to make 4 quarter square triangles

Burgundy
… 24 Template A
Light blue
… 32 Template B

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Referring to Diagram I, “set-in” 3 burgundy Template A and 2 light blue quarter-square triangles. Sewing from “edge-to-edge,” sew quarter-square triangle on each end of unit to make pieced-diamond. (NOTE: Pay close attention to layout of triangles when making pieced-diamond.)

Step 2. Using Diagram II as a guide, sew 8 pieced-diamonds together to make 8-pointed star. (NOTE: Pay close attention to layout of pieced-diamonds. “Swallows” (small diamonds) should rotate in a clockwise direction.)
