CLASS OVERVIEW
The sweet appliquéd thatched cottage takes pride of place in the design on the front and there is a lovely hexagon panel on the back of the bag. Inside the bag there are inner pockets so you can keep your phone in an easy to find place.
During the course Lynette will show you how to do the applique using a technique she learned 20+ years ago and how to do the applique using the revolutionary Apliquick rods.You will learn the importance of having the right needle for the job and then together, you are going to do some everyday embroidery stitches including backstitch, satin stitch and Colonial knots.
Doing English Paper Piecing is not only very relaxing to do but ensures accuracy due to the use of paper liners. Learn some tricks and tips for this technique.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Lynette Anderson’s sophisticated naive applique, stitchery and patchwork designs captures the hearts of people around the world making her a very popular tutor both in Australia and Internationally.
Lynette started designing fabrics in 2000 and is currently working with RJR Fabrics a Californian based company on her 24th fabric collection ‘Stonehouse Garden’ which is due to arrive in stores around the world any day.
