Description
This popular on-demand web seminar shows you how to effectively use red in your quilting!
Perhaps no color evokes more intense emotion than red — this is a color that packs a punch and makes us feel stuff. In this web seminar, we’ll look at how quilters through the ages have used red and how you can use it effectively, too.
In each, one-hour live web seminar, as part of the Color Me Quilter series, you’ll get a hands-on lesson on a specific color and hear Mary Fons answer questions about attendees fabric choices. Then, as a little icing on the cake, each webinar ends with a bonus lesson in quiltmaking!
With this web seminar, you’ll learn:
* How red fabric is made and why it bleeds
* Red’s position on the color wheel and what that means for your patchwork
* What colors may be less successful when paired with red, and why
* Bonus: Tips for cleaning your machine – after all, you’re going to have a lot of red lint to remove soon!
Who should attend?
* Beginners and experienced quilters
* Quilt class teachers
* Shop owners
* Editors and designers writing patterns
