Presenter Bio
Jenny Kae Parks contracted an incurable case of Quilt-pox in 2001 with her first project, quilted place mats. “I was fascinated by how the placement of colors changed the whole look.”
Several years and many projects later, she began working and teaching at a local quilt shop. “Many gals will wonder around the shop looking for something and say, 'Oh dear, I knew I should have brought the pattern with me.' I say 'Oh, honey, if I had a fat quarter for every time I heard that. Oh wait, I do!”.
She encourages students to relax and enjoy quilting, saying “Don't stress yourself, nobody ever took up quilting to add stress to their lives!” In 2013, Jennifer put her skills in public speaking and floral design to good use when she began filming demos, giving webinars and designing quilt patterns. “Love it! I am over the moon. I hope to get many more opportunities to speak, teach and design!”
