Quilt as Desired

That phrase can be such a daunting task and strike fear in even the most experienced quilters. I’m here to make the finishing of your project just a little bit easier with some of my favorite quilting motifs. We’ve recently added more motifs from our collection to Quilting Daily that you can purchase to use on your computerized longarm (or send to your long arm quilter!)

The simple swirls of the Rippling Tide quilting motif create a lot of movement. I often like to use a quilting design that contrasts, and therefore complements my quilt pattern. I’ll quilt something curvy on a design that has more square edges and I think this design would be a great option for this quilt by Geraldine Wilkins. Quick and easy is always a bonus!

A classic pinwheel design, the Windmill motif is suitable for a variety of quilt patterns – baby, modern, or traditional. What would you use it on?

I designed the Crystal Gem quilting motif to look like snowflakes for my pattern Crystal Cascade. It perfectly accented the geometric blocks and is one of my favorite winter quilts. We use it on our bed every winter.

The Twirlycue block motif combines elegant diamonds and graceful swirls that would look beautiful on your winter quilt or on one from this pattern collection.
