Quilt Remix | Lynn Bell & Kelly Bowser | Runtime (10 min)

Kelly sent her remix of Emily Bailey’s Braveheart to a longarm quilter who used an allover pattern with a rail fence diamonds design. Ebony Love, though usually a longarm quilter herself, quilted her remix on her domestic machine using a walking foot to do straight-line quilting on the diagonal. When Lynn Bell drew a remix design of Braveheart, it looked similar to Ebony’s variation. She planned to do some echo quilting with free-motion quilting between some of the echoed lines. Lynn quilts a small section on one of Kelly’s half-finished blocks to demonstrate this technique.
